Draft Regulation of the Minister of Climate and Environment on the amount of the registration fee and the annual BDO fee

LEGISLATION

If you are entering the Polish market:

• packaged goods,
• single-use plastic products
• oils,
• tires,
• lubricating oils
• batteries and accumulators,
• electrical and electronic equipment,
• single-use plastic products
• fishing gear containing plastic

this applies to you paying annual BDO fees.

 

CHANGE

The existing regulation of the Minister of the Environment of January 19, 2018, on the amount of registration fees and annual fees (Dz.U. poz. 184) has not been amended for six years.

Draft regulation of the Ministry of the Environment specifies the new amount of the BDO registration fee and the annual BDO fee

• PLN 200 for micro-entrepreneurs (the previous rate was PLN 100),
• PLN 800 for other entities (the previous rate was PLN 300).

 

DEADLINES

The deadline for paying the annual BDO fee remains unchanged: by the end of February each year for the given year.

The expected date of entry into force, in accordance with § 3 of the draft regulation, is January 1, 2025
