The increase in air pollution and the soil and water environment is directly and indirectly a significant health and environmental risk factor. Soil contamination, in turn, may be deposited into the aquatic environment as a result of leaching of harmful substances, causing contamination of surface, ground and underground waters. Proper assessment of soil and water pollution and the determination of the environmental risk in a given area is therefore the basis for any arrangements related to the determination of liability for environmental damage.&nbsp;<\/strong><br><br>The costs of land reclamation, in the case of some types of soil and water pollution, may exceed the cost of real estate, therefore it is extremely important to identify the types of pollution occurring in a given area and their origin. \">Cooperation procedure in the scope of conducting environmental audits, the so-called <strong>EDD (ang.<em>\u00a0Environmental Due Diligence<\/em>) - phase I I and phase II<\/strong>, allowing to identify the source of origin, types of pollutants and their concentration:<\/p>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-toggle-wrap right\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-state-indicator wp-block-ub-chevron-down\"><\/span><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div role=\"region\" aria-expanded=\"false\" class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-content-wrap ub-hide\" id=\"ub-content-toggle-panel-0-f87babbf-64d4-4d94-a5f9-53b43f716075\">\n\n<p><strong>Phase I of the EDD Environmental Audit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main goal of Stage I, apart from checking compliance with formal and legal obligations in relation to the environment by a given company, is to collect information on potential sources of pollution and the threats they pose by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>establishing a list of objects that are a potential source of pollution, e.g. industrial plants, post-industrial areas, landfills, fuel stations, reloading bases, etc.\u00a0<\/li><li>establishing a list of substances that are expected to occur due to the type of activity carried out in a given facility \/ real estate or in their vicinity,\u00a0<\/li><li>identification of geological conditions and possible directions of pollution migration,\u00a0<\/li><li>zaprojektowanie nawierce\u0144, ustalenie niezb\u0119dnej\u00a0ilo\u015bci pr\u00f3bek gleby i wody do pobrania oraz zakresu analiz.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Phase II of the EDD Environmental Audit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phase II activities focus on determining the characteristics of the soil and water environment and interpreting the results in terms of pollution in accordance with the requirements of Polish law.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the areas classified as probable pollution areas around the potential sources identified in Phase I, samples (soil and \/ and groundwater \/ groundwater) are taken and then analyzed to determine the concentration of potential pollutants.
